No. This is what makes PlankVert special. We use client-side processing (WebAssembly), which means your files are processed entirely within your web browser. Your files never leave your device, ensuring maximum privacy and security.
Currently, our tools support a wide range of popular image and document formats including PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC (Apple's image format).
Yes. Because the processing happens in your browser using your device's memory (RAM), we limit file sizes (usually around 20MB to 50MB per file depending on the tool) to prevent your browser from crashing. If you have a powerful device, you can process larger files smoothly.
Absolutely! PlankVert is fully responsive and works on modern mobile browsers (Safari, Chrome, etc.). However, processing very large files or large batches might be slower on mobile devices compared to desktop computers.
